Should We or Shouldn’t We?

Blogging Talk To Me

Before I say anything else, I want to take this time to thank all of you who read this ole blog and take the time to comment.   Lately I don’t have the time to answer the comments but I do want you all to know that I do read them, and answer them out loud while I sit here lol.  Sometimes I laugh, or nod my head in agreement, but whatever, I just wanted you all to know that.   Once Mini Bugz goes back to school, maybe I wont be so stressed out and slightly insane anymore.   But….Mighty Bugz is now 2 you all know and he is stepping right up to bat and going through the terrible two’s.  He has learned the art of temper tantrums and screaming like he is being murdered when he gets mad.  Heaven help me, I have to go through this all over again.  Sigh.

My oldest son has a playstation 3 and when Mini Bugz goes over there, she loves to play this guitar game he has for his kids. I forget the name of it, but it has a guitar and a drum set. She plays her little heart out the whole time she is there. He suggested that we buy her a playstation of her own for her birthday in October. Geez, she is only 4 yrs old. If we start buying presents that cost that much when she is only 4 whats next? I dunno, we will have to think about it. I kinda like the idea of something that would keep her busy and hold her attention longer than 3 minutes, but is it ok to start buying such expensive gifts at such a young age? What do you guys think? I don’t want to raise a little diva who thinks she is entitled to everything.

At my age, I say PEACE at ANY price–looool! If Mini likes Guitar Hero (i think that’s what it’s called…my 20 and 30 something kids have it!) then go for it. In fact I think it will help with hand-eye coordination, so it might do her good. Old foggies like us Bug just need to sometimes go with the flow…expensive or not, the times they are a changin’!!! In fact sine you still have a month left of no school–EEEEK–I would buy it now! I’d be insane or dead by October if I had your job honey! Love ya!

I so understand about having little ones about. You don’t have time for much else then keeping up with them. Looks like you are raising them right too.

Have a terrific day and weekend. :)

Iman, thanks for stopping by! Long time no see!! Girl, I don’t have to worry about going insane, I’m already there, it’s happened over the last 4 years, slowly but surely!!! LOL. I suppose its not so much about the money. Her daddy can surely afford to buy her what she wants. Its more about teaching her that things have value and just because she wants something, doesn’t mean she is entitled to it. Also, 4 yr olds are very destructive. I would blow a fuse if we spent 400.00 on her and then seen it broken and in pieces.
Regardless of what everyone thinks are here..I in fact DO NOT have eyes in the back of my head ROFLMAO. I can’t watch them every single second.

It is really hard to avoid all this kind of games while they are everywhere, starting from the cartoon TV channel and magazines and shopping centers. I think I’ll suggest to raise our kinds so that they would rather prefer and outdoor play than a computer screen. Doing sports can also be fun for kids.
