Mini Bug went for her physical today and got 4 booster shots, poor girl. But now she won’t have to get another shot until she is 12. Why do Dr offices give you a set time for an appointment, and then make you sit there for 2 hours? Her appointment was for 10:30. We didn’t get out of that Dr’s office until 12:30. One and a half hours was spent just waiting. It’s hard enough for adults to sit in a Dr’s office and wait and wait and wait, it’s totally miserable for a child…a 4 year old hyperactive child at that. For one and a half hours I heard over and over and over again, I want to go HOME mommy. Yeah, me too I told her, but we have to do this if you want to go to school. The little darlin wants to go to school very much, so she sat and waited and fidgeted and whined and crawled around the floor on her belly which had me grinding my teeth as I asked her please sit back down and get off the dirty nasty yucky floor.
What I hate the most is the sneaky trick they play on you. After you have been waiting in the waiting room long enough to finally feel like your going to explode, they call your name and you think HA…we’re IN. Only to be taken to a room in the back to continue the sitting and waiting only this time alone and with a door closed. And it’s these things in life, that we can’t control, that we are forced to eat, that cause me to have dark eye circles.
