Still getting better each day   The cough doesn’t seem to want to leave, but it’s not as bad as it was.  The kids are feeling almost 100 better, just little cough now and then.  Whew, this has really been the flu trip to hell and back.  No thank you for a repeat.  I coughed for so long and so hard that I actually pulled my stomach muscles, and it feels like I broke my ribs.  Thank goodness that part is over, my poor muscles need to heal.

Now, even tho we were all quite miserable and blowing our noses off and coughing our lungs out, Christmas came nevertheless.   It wasn’t Ho Ho Ho Merry…and will go down in our history as being the 2009 Flu Christmas from hell, but we did try our best to make it as special as we could for the kids.

As I said earlier, my husband and son made a wonderful dinner.  The turkey looked delicious and he followed my instructions to the T.  I ate it, but couldn’t smell it or taste it, so I will have to take his word for it that it was delicious.  I am really grateful that he didn’t get sick also and was able to take care everything, including all the shopping and present wrapping, and tree decorating.  Considering he has always left this to me in the past, I must say he did a stand up job!  We are also grateful that the day didn’t include any medical travel like another trip to the ER. Whew, we went to the Dr so many times in the past 3 weeks, I’m sure they are sick of seeing us, and are as happy as we are that we are on the mend.

So, here are some pictures of our Holiday.  I also just took a couple pictures of my gifts, the Amazon Kindle and the Blackberry that I got from my husband.  I still haven’t been to my parents house to exchange gifts.  I don’t dare give this virus to my mom, and it’s been so damn cold down here in FL that I dread going out, I don’t want to get sick again.
