Unfreaking believable! The kids are sick yet once again!!!! It started with Mini Bug Friday night..of course around 1 am. Very high fever of 103.3, deep coughing and then the vomiting. I was up all night with her, trying to get the fever down and cleaning up vomit. Then I finally got her to rest and fall asleep around 8 am. I went to bed. At 10 am I woke up to two sounds, a huge thump and hard cry, and coughing and vomiting. I ran into the living room, and there sat Mini Bug covered in her own vomit, I kept running and went into the babys room, and there he sat on the floor crying. He decided he wants to be a mountain climber I suppose and climbed out of his crib. I got him calmed down, and put him in his high chair, then ran to mini bug and got her cleaned up and the mess cleaned up and back on the couch with a cool wash cloth on her head. No sleep for the rest of Saturday. Saturday night my husband took her to the ER. They weren’t concerned that a 4 year old girl, has been constantly vomiting, will not eat or drink, and her fever will not go down. They said its normal. Hell…she looks like she is dying for crying out loud. Up all night Saturday night also.
Then last night, of course its always at night, or I should say middle of the night, the baby got sick. High fever, cough then vomit. I was up all night again last night. I put the baby in bed with us to keep a close eye on him, and fell asleep for about an hour.
They both have Dr appointments tomorrow at 11 am. I swear I better get some strong meds for these kids and I better not hear the words..this is normal again. I’m pretty sure that with flu vaccines, they wont give them to you if you are already sick. My butt is draggin and draggin hard. They are sick and exhausted also. The fever and the hard coughing has me very concerned. So. This is why I am not around. Heck I haven’t even gone Christmas shopping yet. The way it is looking right now, we are going to have a flu Christmas this year. I am really praying that they get to feeling better very soon…at least by Christmas day.
Hey you inconsiderate parents out there…if your kid is freaking sick, KEEP THEM HOME!!! Thank you so very much for sharing your little Typhoid Marys germs with everyone else! How nice of you to make sure that other children share the misery. I swear, the way I feel right now, every time I have to go the store, and I see a snotty nose kid in the store, coughing and sneezing, I’m just gonna punch the mother right in the f’ing mouth. Stupid inconsiderate assholes.
