Monday morning I was in the Dr’s office with both kids. Mini Bug also got checked because she still had a cough. The sick room at the Dr’s office was packed. All the kids looked the same, sick. Runny eyes, noses and coughing. Since the kids were already sick, it didn’t matter that we were sitting amongst little Typhoid Marys.
Mighty Bug, the lil guy has the flu. Just the regular flu, but, he also has croup. That is why he couldn’t catch his breath, and threw up. That is why his cough sounded so horrible…like a bark. He is on oral predisone and an allergy med. Allison also has a prescription. I am finally starting to see some improvement. I keep a vaporizer on in the lil guys room and that seems to help also. So, hopefully the meds will continue to work and soon everyone around here will be back in tip top shape.
Yesterday I took Mini Bug for her second evaluation about her language problem. Looks like she will be going to school so that they can help her. Oh my Gawd, finally Mini Bug will get the help she needs, and ..I know this is horrible but I will finally get a break from her. I haven’t been away from that girl in 3 1/2 years. She needs to be around other kids her age, and I need to have some quiet time, and time to get things done. Mighty bug has a completely different disposition then her. While she is demanding, and loud and wild, he is calm and laid back. He will and does sit quietly and play. She doesn’t. EVER. Her new “thing” is screaming on top of her sweet little lungs I don’t likea you, every time she doesn’t get her way. Oh..and running to her room and slamming her door so hard she rattles the windows. So, her going to school is a blessing. For her to get the help she needs…and for ME to get the help I need. 
My mom is coming in the morning to take my second son to the dentist. I am run down, and I am not taking the lil guy out yet. With my luck, he would end up sicker.
