you can not help until they are ready to help them self I had a daughter kinda like your son when she finally decided to join society she went back to school and become a nurse I think she is the most careing child I have but you have to do what you feel is right tough love is the hardest

I think the worst thing you can do right now is bring him back home. You really need to think about yourself and your kids. I know it must be the hardest thing watching YOUR baby hurt himself the way he does, but he isn’t going to change if you bring him home and start helping him. Drug addicts are master manipulators and users (I know I was addicted to prescription pills for 15 years) Maybe you could find an in-patient treatment facility near your home and you could bring him straight there and let him know if he goes through the whole treatment program (30, 60, 90 days – whatever they think is necessary) then he could come home. You have heart problems and 2 little babies who don’t have anyone BUT you. I hope this works out for you, you really deserve some peace in your life.
