Back in the 80’s and early 90’s I got my feet wet in the internet on Prodigy and then soon afterwards AOL. I spent most of my time in chats and message boards. I loved it. So much, that I volunteered my time as an AOL Guide. Later on went on to become a paid mod at Liveworld Inc.
A dear old friend introduced me to blogging in 2005. I started out as Mrshellonheels.com. It was about a year into that, that I had life altering changes happening in my life..namely, the kids. I quit blogging for a year or two and then came back as Spicybugz.
When I set up this blog, I asked my husband help to install a forum. Forums are my first love along with chats. So he did, and it’s been sitting there since April, all alone and not being used or set up properly.
Then Entrecard closed down its forum, and I felt that emptiness like hole again. So, I talked it over with my co-mod on Entrecard, and she agreed it was a good idea to get it open and started. Shaunalynn aka Mom agreed to help moderate it and more or less, run the show with me in the background, using it 
She has been so great about it all. She is running a contest on her blog about the new forum, and trying to promote it to the best of her ability. I think in time, it really could be a rockin place. Time will tell.
I love the feeling of community that I get from forums. More so, then comments on blogs.

Back in the 90’s I was also actively involved in forums and chat and was Assistant Chat Manager for MSN until the chat rooms were discontinued.

I’m in…awesome to know we have a place to chat again. I too like forums, though I don’t more than blogs, I do enjoy them.

I would really like to have the Entrecard forum back.It was a sad thing that they decided to close it down.
So,will the new forum be back on the same link or will it come back on a different link?

It’s good to have it back. I wanted to post about the tax going down to 50% and couldn’t. Not everyone has complaints. Regardless what you do, even if you’re the Pope you will always have whiners and complainers. For what EC is, it works very well. Except my finger gets numb after my daily round of clicking :-0
