It’s starting to feel like things are starting to calm down a bit here. The adoption is over and finalized. I should be getting the new birth certificates in about 6 weeks.
The demolishion company has been paid to demolish my house, I have been told they will start on that in about 2 weeks after they complete another job they are working on.
We are still waiting on payment from the bank, but I will give that 30. I dread the thought of calling them again and dealing with customer service in India.
My middle son who was living in our home is settled in an apartment and it appears that he is doing ok.
My sisters arrived today and are at my moms house. I need to make time to go visit them and their families, probably this weekend. I am trying to figure out what to get my middle sister for her birthday. Since she is down here now, and her birthday is just 2 weeks ago, we might as well celebrate it with her now. She inherited her dads truck when he died, so maybe I could get her some truck accessories. She is hard to buy for, she is picky and quirky.
It’s really hot out today, I think I might get my housework done and spend the day in the pool with the kids. Sounds like a good plan to me.
