I am mentally drained. All day today I have been dreaming about Caribbean cruises.
Right before we moved to FL, in fact before we even knew we were moving to FL, my husband and I had planned on taking a Caribbean cruise along with Mini Bug. In fact we even got our passports. That in it’s self was a fiasco, as we paid to get them fast and it didn’t work out that way. I think I blogged about that ages ago. We never got to go on that Caribbean cruise vacation. Right after we finally got our passports, my husband was offered a job in FL and accepted into a University down here in FL at the same time. It was like an omen that we had to move to FL if only until he finished his Ph.d.
So today, while totally disgusted with life in general, and wanting a day off from all my problems and problem solving, I have been day dreaming on what my ideal Caribbean cruise would be. I mean, all these problems can’t last forever right? Sooner or later I wont have to deal with my homeowners insurance company (who I’m still battling) and sooner or later I will find a company to demolish my home, and sooner or later I will complete my personal loss inventory list. That sooner or later had better be this week!
So today, I just put it all aside and daydreamed! My Ideal Cruise Vacation would be me, my husband and children sailing away to the Caribbean. Staying in a sweet room on the ship like this one:
We would sail off to the Eastern Caribbean, and visit the Bahama’s , Nassau, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay. I would lounge around on the different beautiful sands of each beach, playing with the kids and collecting sea shells.
While we were on the ship, I dream of lounging around and enjoying the ocean and breeze, in an adult only area, while the children played in an adult supervised child only area.
My dreams include my husband and I enjoying ourselves in the evening aboard the ship, with a romantic dinner, and ship entertainment. Knowing the children were enjoying themselves with age-appropriate activities in the babysitting services the ship would provide. Oh how wonderful that would be.
Of course this is all daydreaming. Tomorrow will be back to the stress and constant phone calls to people who don’t have my best intentions at heart. Today I dream. Tomorrow…well tomorrow will come fast enough.
