    Hey Spicy -

The great thing about insurance is it’s always there when you don’t need it. ;-) Remember Katrina?

If you continue to get the run around (more likely when),I suggest you start putting all communications in writing. Even e-mail is preferable to phone contact. Also, document your phone calls, wait times, all that stuff. You’ll need records.

I’ve learned to write to companies and copy people and institutions who can help expedite things: consumer protection agencies, insurance commissioners, attorney generals offices, even the local newspaper complaint desk.

    Good luck and stay well.
