This was the news I got today. My home in PA burned. My nephew took the pictures for me early this evening and sent them. I am sick. I am more than sick. I don’t know why the date on his camera is wrong. This happened at 11am this morning. My house is a total loss. Those that remember, know that my husband and I put years of love, blood, money and more love into this house. 3 years of remodeling right before we moved to Fl, for my husbands continuing education.
I’m sick so please excuse me if I am mia for a bit.
This WAS my home.

Hey girl….I know your loss as I have experienced a fire of my own home years ago.
I was at work in the evening and returned home to nothing more than a chimney…my two babies were safe with my husband…it was a surreal visual as I pulled up to where my property line began and saw all of my belongings scattered all over the yard and hundreds of people all over the place. It is a horrible experience to have to deal with.
My only words of advice to you is be slow in making your insurance claim as they will rush you …there are too many things that you will forget …so be slow and take all the time necessary. I know the material things are not what hurts right now….but the time will come when you will need that money to rebuild.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and be thankful there were no human casualties caused from this disaster!

So sorry to hear of this disaster. I also had a housefire and it was horrible so I know how you must be feeling. At least it made me realise posessions are not as important as we think.

So sorry you’ve suffered this loss, I certainly hope you had insurance to cover your losses and to repair. I don’t know if you were renting it out while you’re away, but I certainly hope no one was injured, again I’m very sorry for your loss and wish you all the best.

That really is a bad day! I feel so sorry for you. It was such a nice looking house too and after all that work you put into it, I’m sure it hurts very deeply to lose it. At least you weren’t in it when it happened and it sounds like it’s not your primary home. I hope it isn’t.
