I have so much I want to say, and people to thank. But not in this post. Read the next one to come
This post is about me getting my butt in gear, for real this time. My goal is to be in perfect shape by time the adoption becomes a reality. I want everything to be perfect. Brand new beginnings for the whole family.
These kids need a healthy active and in shape mommy. They deserve that. So, I look at it this way, since so many of you are giving from your hearts to make these kids life safe. It’s my turn to do what I need to do also. Get fit again. It’s time for the exercise train to pull in.
So Bugz is gonna get busy. Busy shaking her groove thing and shaking everything else that wiggles and jiggles. Time to trim the fat. Time to get serious. I figure I have several more months to go before I have enough funds to finish the adoption, so that gives me plenty of time to get this done.
The first thing I need to do is get on the Tread Mill. I can’t walk outside in this weather down here. It’s a furnace. I can’t do it. But, I can walk on a treadmill in the comfort of my a/c home. Which I will do.
I can’t ride a bike like my husband does, holy cow, he goes over 10 miles a day in this heat. I would make it to the bottom of my drive way, then fall over. No kidding. But, I can sit on a Exercise Bike and peddle my jello thighs off on that for sure.
I can also swim. I love to swim, and that always feels like cheating. But I know for a fact, you can get a good cardio workout in the pool.
I’m also going to cut way way down on my mountain dew consumption. I drink way to much and I am sure I can drop an easy 10 if I just gave that up. I’m an addict I tell ya. If you open me up, a mountain dew truck will roll right out of me.
I am lucky enough to already own this equipment, gathering dust and cobwebs in storage. If your not so lucky and would like to join me on my little “lets trim the fat” adventure you can find all the exercise equipment you need right at Smoothfitness.com
Wish me luck. I have to do this. If you all can open your hearts to help me. Then I have to open my own heart to help myself, and get in shape. You guys rock! Hopefully, soon with a bit of exercise and will power I will be in Shape and be able to rock too!

Best of luck with it, Spicy. Being fit really does make things a helluva lot easier, and not just physically.
You can read about my love affair with the treadmill here- http://blurbfromtheburbs.blogspot.com/2008/08/day-thirty-one-appreciative-august.html

Kath, thanks I need all the luck I can get. I will read your post about the treadmill later today or this evening when the little ones are sleeping. Trying to do anything while they are awake is just too hard. I do believe that being in better shape will help a lot.
