I decided to start a Sharing Knowledge Tuesdays Meme using Mr. Linky.   The idea is for everyone to share their knowledge.  It doesn’t matter what your topic is, it could be anything from the best diaper rash cream, to how to change a spark plug, or even your IT knowledge.

The idea is to learn something new from each other. Hopefully this will be a benefit to anyone who wants to to know something someone else knows better than they do

Because this is my first post on Sharing Knowledge Tuesdays, I’m going to keep it simple and sweet. I’m also going to give you first hand knowledge learned from first hand experience.

Mini Bug loves to draw, and I usually only allow her to color with crayons while I am right there to supervise her. When she is finished, I put the crayons away and out of her reach. As most know 3 yr olds and crayons can lead to a disaster. I had that disaster!

Mini Bug was sitting in the living room with a super huge coloring book and her box of Crayons and I was with her teaching her how to keep in the lines while she colors. The phone rang. I without thinking went to answer it, when I came back, the artistic Mini Bug drew a lovely picture all over my off white carpet with RED crayon. Needless to say, my eyes popped out, probably like Large Marge in that PeeWee Herman movie. I didn’t think I could get red crayon out of off white carpet. I was thinking that it would smear like lipstick if I attempted to scrub it. My mom had given me a bottle of cleaner called “Awesome” that she said was a miracle cleaner a couple of months earlier. She said she gets it from the dollar store and it cleans everything. I never used it, and it was under the kitchen sink.

So I went to got that bottle of Awesome and sprayed it all over Mini Bugz huge creative red drawing on my carpeting. I stood up and looked at it, then sprayed some more. Then I went and got a scrub brush, and kitchen towel and started to scrub and wipe. With really no effort that red crayon came right out of my carpet. Not even a pinkish stain remained. It was like it never happened. I called my mom and thanked her repeatedly.

So my knowledge for all today, is Awesome only cost a buck, but it really does work. This is first hand knowledge.

Because I am new to Mr. Linky and really don’t know what I am doing, maybe someone could share their knowledge of the best way for me to use it.
