Lemon Tree Very Pretty

Uncategorized Talk To Me

When we moved down here to FL, this past winter, we planted some trees. Lemons and Oranges. We bought baby trees, with the hopes of watching them grow and getting to enjoy the fruit of the trees in a couple of years.

I was shocked to see that 2 of the trees already have fruit. Lemon and oranges. Not many, but heck, I’m happy to see the few that are there. I can’t wait until they ripen and I can make some lemonade and enjoy an orange from my own back yard! I’m hoping that next year there will be even more fruit and that the other two will finally produce.

Planting trees is a great investment in the future, and a great path towards more self sufficiency. Although it make take years to see the true rewards, the small rewards (like your fruit this year) will start growing. Enjoy your hard earned tasty treats!

B, I plan on planting some peaches and maybe a kiwi this winter. I do my gardening and planting in the winter because I can’t stand the heat of summer here. I would really like some date palms but we have been told we are too far north and they wont grow here.
I’m sure your lemons and limes look cute, but I bet they taste great :)

Suburban, I can’t wait until they are huge and full of oranges and lemons. Everyone around here seems to have grapefruit, but I don’t care for grapefruit.
