This was the news I got today. My home in PA burned. My nephew took the pictures for me early this evening and sent them. I am sick. I am more than sick. I don’t know why the date on his camera is wrong. This happened at 11am this morning. My house is a total loss. Those that remember, know that my husband and I put years of love, blood, money and more love into this house. 3 years of remodeling right before we moved to Fl, for my husbands continuing education.
I’m sick so please excuse me if I am mia for a bit.
This WAS my home.
As you all can see, I put a donation box up to try to help us with the adoption of our little angels. Things are starting to get sticky and it needs to be done as soon as possible. The BL mother is showing all signs of cracking again. Which means another long dance in the state mental hospital. That makes adoption tricky. The father is looking at jail time. We just don’t have the money we need to get this done. It needs done. So, I love these kids enough that I will swallow my pride and ask. Please help me raise the money to get this adoption done and over with so these kids are safe and secure for the rest of their lives, and so that their BL parents can’t screw with their little heads more than they have already done. The BL mother isn’t even allowed alone in the same room with them, that is just a glimpse at how bad it was and how scary it was. She has wanted Mini Bug dead from almost the day she was born. I could go on, but please just trust me on this one, it needs done asap. Even a dollar can help, if each of my visitors donate a dollar, that would raise a whole heck of a lot of money. I would be able to get this done quickly. Actually your not really helping me, your securing the lifes of two very small children. Thank you, God Bless.
Maybe one of my super duper friends could make me a banner or something that I could give away as a token of my appreciation. Hint hint :) Love you guys.

Spicybug Thinks These Bloggers Rock!
Thank You From the Deepest Part Of My Heart
So enough of that! We have been so busy the past week. We got an estimate that we liked to get the front walk way to our home enclosed in and have a security screen door installed in the archway. So, that work will be done in the next 2 weeks.
It’s something that has to be done for child safety. Now, nobody will be able to knock on my front door. Mini Bug will not be able to just open the door and get out either. Which is a very good possibility because she is very tall for 3 years old and can open every door in the house. Not only that, but she can also unlock the deadbolts, with just a turn. She is making me gray fast. We are also going to have hidden security camera’s installed outside so that I can see who is ringing the doorbell before I go outside. I know this probably sounds a little dramatic but as far as child safety goes enough is never enough as far as I am concerned. Child safety in the home is one of our major priories. We have always had a security camera in her bedroom with sound that we can watch and hear right from my monitor. We leave it on all night so we can hear everything that goes on in her room.
Now with Mighty Bug getting bigger and being able to walk, we need some intense baby proofing of our home. We need more baby gates and a child safety gates as well as child safety locks to keep him out of areas he should be in. We also need new child safety cabinet locks for both MIni and Mighty bugs safety.
Some things I have to order online. I know we got a special door knob lock at walmart, hoping it would keep Mini Bug from being able to turn the door knob and open the door. Guess what, she figured it out. She quickly learned that all you had to do was squeeze it real hard and she could turn the door knob. She is just too smart for her own good. So we looked around online and found a KidCo Door Knob Lock at kidsafeinc.com that looks a little bit better than what we have. I was also eying up some child safety latches.
Enclosing in our outside entry way, and putting the security screen door in will help me breath a bit easier. At least I won’t have to worry about turning my back and her opening the door and being half way down the road before I even know it. I promise before and after pictures when it’s done.
Wanna know what I do, when the kids finally go to sleep and I have a bit of free time for myself?
I play games online. There are several different places that I play, and different games that are my favorites. When I am extremely stressed out, I like to go play online bingo. I think everyone likes to play bingo sometimes. My ex mother in law loved to play it all the time. She lived and breathed bingo. I had to go with her many many times to the bingo hall to play with her. If she were still alive, I guarantee she would be online playing free bingo. It’s fun, in fact I was feeling silly and made a little video of Bingo House.com. I’m still learning how to shoot video’s on my little digital camera, so don’t mind the poor quality. I wanted to show me playing a game, but got side tracked with the half naked double delight dude! Haha. Yes I’m silly.
Internet bingo, is as much fun if not more than going to an actual bingo hall. Personally, I like it more, I don’t have to worry about getting clobbered over the head by all those gray haired women when I call a bingo that I don’t actually have.
I’m not much into gambling, so I always play free, but if you like to play for real money, and win real money then BingoHouse.com is the perfect place to play. Get out your lucky trolls, rabbit foot or whatever lucky charm you use while playing bingo, grab a drink, and sit yourself down to a nice fun night of bingo right in your home. Roll those balls! I’m waiting on B-13.

I have so much I want to say, and people to thank. But not in this post. Read the next one to come
This post is about me getting my butt in gear, for real this time. My goal is to be in perfect shape by time the adoption becomes a reality. I want everything to be perfect. Brand new beginnings for the whole family.
These kids need a healthy active and in shape mommy. They deserve that. So, I look at it this way, since so many of you are giving from your hearts to make these kids life safe. It’s my turn to do what I need to do also. Get fit again. It’s time for the exercise train to pull in.
So Bugz is gonna get busy. Busy shaking her groove thing and shaking everything else that wiggles and jiggles. Time to trim the fat. Time to get serious. I figure I have several more months to go before I have enough funds to finish the adoption, so that gives me plenty of time to get this done.
The first thing I need to do is get on the Tread Mill. I can’t walk outside in this weather down here. It’s a furnace. I can’t do it. But, I can walk on a treadmill in the comfort of my a/c home. Which I will do.
I can’t ride a bike like my husband does, holy cow, he goes over 10 miles a day in this heat. I would make it to the bottom of my drive way, then fall over. No kidding. But, I can sit on a Exercise Bike and peddle my jello thighs off on that for sure.
I can also swim. I love to swim, and that always feels like cheating. But I know for a fact, you can get a good cardio workout in the pool.
I’m also going to cut way way down on my mountain dew consumption. I drink way to much and I am sure I can drop an easy 10 if I just gave that up. I’m an addict I tell ya. If you open me up, a mountain dew truck will roll right out of me.
I am lucky enough to already own this equipment, gathering dust and cobwebs in storage. If your not so lucky and would like to join me on my little “lets trim the fat” adventure you can find all the exercise equipment you need right at Smoothfitness.com
Wish me luck. I have to do this. If you all can open your hearts to help me. Then I have to open my own heart to help myself, and get in shape. You guys rock! Hopefully, soon with a bit of exercise and will power I will be in Shape and be able to rock too!
With the weather being in the 90’s and feeling like 100 I have been spending most of my time with the kids in the pool. They love it. I let them swim and play most of the early afternoon, then give them their lunch on the lanai. The baby usually goes to sleep then for an hour or so and me and Mini bug have that time outside in the pool to ourselves.
Swimming is a good work out, especially if your playing with kids in the pool. Right now as I sit here and type this, just about every bone in my body aches. I have been using muscles that I forgot I had ;). I love it though and I love being able to play with them. The laughing and giggling and splashing is good for the soul. It’s nice to be able to play like a kid. Sure does wear you out though. But it wears them out as well, which is a good thing. Dr Corny did buy the baby a life vest for infants on his way home from work today, we tried it out, no good. It chokes the heck out of him and it forces him to lay on his back in the water, if he rolls over, he rolls over face down. What the heck is that. Back to the store that thing is going.
Dr. Corny is still checking out life insurance quotes. He is bound and determined to find cheap life insurance. As I told you in a previous post, he is looking around for term life insurance because he is worried about what would happen to us if God forbid something should happen to him. I hate to even think about it, so I let him think about it instead. I would be in deep trouble that’s for sure.
So it’s 2 am, and I’m going to grab a shower and call it a night. Everyone is finally sleeping and I think I might get to sleep before 4 am tonight. woohooo.
As most of you know, I’m a Pittsburgh girl (now living in Florida.) There are some things from back home that I miss. Like going to the Post Gazette Pavilion At Star Lake. I was just looking to see who was playing this summer and Holy Cow look whose playing this summer, Aerosmith, Creed, Dave Matthews Band, Def Leppard, George Strait, Jimmy Buffett, Kid Rock, Phish, Blink 182, No Doubt,Toby Keith, Nickelback, Rascal Flatts, Vans Warped Tour, Crue Fest, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.
If I was back home, I would be going to see Jimmy Buffett, Kid Rock, and Aerosmith. I would get my Post Gazette Pavilion Tickets through acheapseat.com, which I could order on line, or on the phone. They also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. I am always looking for a deal, and a way to pinch a penny and still have a good time. I just wish I could fly back home for a weekend to watch Kid Rock.
